INDONESIA RAYA – At the moment of commemoration of the National Press Day (HPN) which was held in West Sumatra, the West Sumatra Police Chief (Kapolda Sumbar) Inspector General (Irjen) Teddy Minahasa Putra, S.H., S.I.K., received a certificate of appreciation from the Association of Indonesian Journalists (PWI) of West Sumatra Province.
The award of PWI Partner was handed over by the Governor of West Sumatra, Mahyeldi Ansharullah, accompanied by the Chair of the West Sumatra PWI Heranof Firdaus, Tuesday 22 February 2022 at the West Sumatra Governor’s Auditorium.
“Kapolda Sumbar is one of the figures who helped build partnerships with all members of the press in West Sumatra,” said West Sumatra PWI Chairman Heranof Firdaus after giving the award.
Aside from Kapolda Sumbar, PWI also gave the PWI Award Charter and PWI Partners to several officials, including the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Andika, SH. MH., Head of Communications and Information Technology of West Sumatra, Drs. Jasman Datuak Bandaro Bendang, Mayor of Padang, H. Hendri Septa, Managing Director of Bank Nagari, Ir. Muhammad Irsyad, MM., Acting President Director of PT. Semen Padang, Ir. Asri Muchtar, MM., and Head of the West Sumatra Provincial Chamber of Commerce H. Ramal Saleh.
On the same occasion, Kapolda Sumbar’s spokesperson, the Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police Commissioner Satake Bayu also handed over a token of partnership to the representatives of the journalists’ wives who were members of the Indonesian Journalists’ Family Association (IKWI).***
