President Jokowi’s visit to East Nusa Tenggara this time showed that he paid great attention to the province, the governor told the president during the inauguration of the new office of the East Nusa Tenggara governor here on Tuesday.
President Jokowi arrived in East Nusa Tenggara on Monday for a two-day working visit, during which he also spent overnight in the westernmost Indonesian island of Rote and inaugurated the Raknamo Dam in Kupang District, among others.
“Mr President’s and First Lady’s two-day visit to East Nusa Tenggara this time is the eighth of its kind,” the governor said.
Hence, on the behalf of the East Nusa Tenggara government and people, Lebu Raya expressed gratitude to the President for his great attention to this province.
He expressed hope that East Nusa Tenggara will make more progress in the future and catch up with other provinces in the country.
The President and entourage are scheduled to leave for Jakarta on Tuesday evening after inaugurating the Reknamo dam in Kupang district. (bet)
